When you are just starting out, learning all about producing house music for beginners will give you the best chance at finding success. You need to have a deep understanding on how to make progressive house music. You will want to learn how to make deep house music. If you want to learn about how to make future house or just improve your skills, this will give you the tips that you need to make amazing music.

Find Your Software

First, we will take a look at some options. Ableton Live is an expensive program that is ideal for live performances. Such artists as Skrillex and Deadmau5 favor this DAW. FL Studio is much more affordable than Ableton, which makes it very popular for newer or independent artists. While it is primarily used for Windows, you could potentially use this for your Mac.

Soulja Boy is just one artist who tends to favor this program. Garageband is the cheapest option, since it’s a completely free. If you are just starting out and want to learn how to use these types of programs, Garageband is the best choice. Unfortunately, Garageband doesn’t have a lot of features.

Find Your Sound

Now that you have chosen the software, next you need to think about the type of music that you want to produce. You need to have this in mind so that you can know how to use this software to achieve these results. Have an open mind because you may decide that you want to create a different type of music than you originally planned on making.

For progressive house, you may take a different approach than you would to create deep house music. Which musicians inspire the music that you want to make? You may want to listen to them to get an idea of what their approach is when you are making your own music.

There are some things that you should know about this process. The most important thing is that you really need to avoid changing the file types unless it is absolutely necessary. If you made the track at 24-bit, stay there unless you are required to down sample the track.

You should only use dithering once when you export the song. You don’t always have to dither, which is why knowing when and why it is done is important.

One last note, this process can be impacted by the software that you use, so be sure to use the best dithering plugin for what you are trying to accomplish

Get Better & Better!

Next, read up on tutorials that will help you better use the DAW software that you have selected to make your music. There are a lot of YouTube videos that are dedicated to DAW tutorials. It also helps to listen to the pros when they discuss how they produce their music because you can pick up tips that are going to be very useful to you as a beginner.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with different sounds to help you find something that fits your specific unique style. Once you get into using your DAW, you may find that you need to upgrade your equipment to get a better quality sound. This includes upgrading your plugins to keep up with your DAW.

Making good house music is very dependent on the DAW that you use. You will need to practice and experiment with your DAW to ensure that you achieve the sound that you have been planning in your head. When in doubt, you can find an endless number of YouTube videos that will help you not only learn how to use your DAW but how to use it more effectively.

KID TRAVIS (R&B, POP)

With an already buzzing YouTube audience of over 400K+ subscribers, Kid Travis wanted his Instagram profile to start gaining some of that same traction.

While you can get some spill over audience from YouTube, Kid Travis knew that Instagram ad campaigns could boost his presence on IG even further!

He discovered that trying to run Instagram ads yourself vs. having us add our years of experience and expertise to them made a huge difference!

His main goal was to achieve new followers who are seriously interested in his journey as an artist.

Kid Travis already had amazing talent but needed to combine his music genius with some marketing expertise to get the best of both worlds.

We were able to bring out the heart of his music through paid ads by editing & optimizing his existing videos and properly researching and structuring his ad campaigns.

The end results: We were able to consistently and predictably gain followers averaging between $0.25-$0.35 per follower (including a bulk of the promotion being done in high cost English speaking countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Australia, & Canada) resulting in around 4,000 new, engaged followers/month on Instagram.
