Every city has history and culture that sets the tone for its music scene. Musicians often look for cities and places provide them with inspiration for their music. The best cities for classical musicians might not be the best cities for rock music artists.

But music is all around us, and there is bound to be a city that can capture your creative interests and bring out your best songwriting.

Cleveland, Ohio

For rock musicians, Cleveland is definitely a good place to start. It is known for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and has some of the most iconic music venues like the Tavern in Collinwood and Beachland Ballroom.

The city has produced some amazing artists: The Black Keys get their start in Cleveland when they performed their first show in the Tavern in front of eight folks. It has a rich history of music and will continue to be a pillar in the music world.

Nashville, Tennessee

Another city that has a strong reputation for rock, pop, country, blues, and even classical music in Nashville. It is known as the Music City and has produced some of the celebrated artists like Kings of Leon, Paramore and Kesha.

Rolling Stones named Nashville as the city which has the best music scene in the country. Whether you are a classical musician or a rock artist, Nashville is a good place to start.

New York City, New York

New York City is the best place on Earth. One of the many reasons why, is that NYC is home to first-class musicians and large stadiums that host music festivals of all genres each year. There are lots of opportunities to network for young rock artists or classical musicians.

You are likely to see a famous celebrity in the streets or coffee shops every now and then. 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Madonna all started their careers from New York City.

Los Angeles, California

Los Angeles is another big center of the music industry. Metallica, Guns N Roses and Red Hot Chili Pepper began their careers from this city. Los Angeles is cheaper than New York City, but more expensive than Nashville. It offers a happy middle ground for musicians and artists who can afford to live in a medium-sized city.

The city has a trending hip-hop scene and is home to the grand Grammy Award functions. It can surely become a place of your dreams if you are all about Sunset Boulevard and romantic music.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Pittsburgh is one of the best small cities for musicians. It is home to several famous artists like Kenny Clarke, Christian Aguilera and Wiz Khalifa. The city streets are filled with local talent and the Downtown Partnership proposed to bring live music to the downtown area to benefit the street artists.

The city might appear humble but it has a lot to offer, and is ranked as one of the best cities for musicians.

For those who want to experience the origins of classical music have to travel to Europe. The historical classical music venues in Paris and the Museum of Musical Instruments in Italy are surely to catch your eye.

You can go a bit further, and visit the Opera House in Sydney to get a feel for what it’s like to play with the big Maestros.

But you have to remember that the best city for you is the one you feel most comfortable in.

With an already buzzing YouTube audience of over 400K+ subscribers, Kid Travis wanted his Instagram profile to start gaining some of that same traction.

While you can get some spill over audience from YouTube, Kid Travis knew that Instagram ad campaigns could boost his presence on IG even further!

He discovered that trying to run Instagram ads yourself vs. having us add our years of experience and expertise to them made a huge difference!

His main goal was to achieve new followers who are seriously interested in his journey as an artist.

Kid Travis already had amazing talent but needed to combine his music genius with some marketing expertise to get the best of both worlds.

We were able to bring out the heart of his music through paid ads by editing & optimizing his existing videos and properly researching and structuring his ad campaigns.

The end results: We were able to consistently and predictably gain followers averaging between $0.25-$0.35 per follower (including a bulk of the promotion being done in high cost English speaking countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Australia, & Canada) resulting in around 4,000 new, engaged followers/month on Instagram.
